We are new to the area and looking for pet care for our goofy golden lab. The staff was amazing - very kind and full of patience for our timid lab. The team is very knowledgeable and attentive. Our lab was more comfortable at this store than any other we've tried. Highly recommend for nail trimming or any other services. They also have very good treats, lab tested 5 stars.
Awesome awesome awesome!! Sarah and her staff go out of their way for their customers. Sarah is very very knowledgeable about your pets having been a vet tech++. You can't do better! She's also a breeder of Mini Aussies, and has an awesome noisy cockatoo at the store! Love them!
I went to pet shoppe in Penetanguishene this afternoon. It was my first visit and I can say I’ll be going back again for sure! I went in to get my two guinea pigs nails trimmed and the staff were so friendly and amazing at what they do and super knowledgeable. Not to mention the store is super clean and they have the cutest animals there to look at. Thank you for your service pet shoppe!
The staff is amazing. I've received service from the owner, the staff, and the groomer, and it's always been really helpful and excellent. During Covid, the groomer came out and quickly, efficiently and with kindness groomed the nails of both my 170 lb. mastiff and my 8 lb.terrier. Again, during Covid,when I required a night light up collar for my terrier, The salesman came out 3 times to show me different coloured and types of collars. His service was outstanding, and the collar I picked happens to be amazing [like a glow stick in the night] I'm really impressed with the staff and quality of both their service and goods. Thank you.
Got my first hamster here planning in getting my second really friendly and helpful very knowledgeable and experienced honestly love there services, Cant wait to come back and get more of my pets from there.
Very disappointed. Wanted to know a few thing's and the employee decided it was polite to walk away while talking, rush the conversation, and be rude with responses. I was a loyal customer, I bought everything there, now I would rather waste my gas going else where. Sorry, but when you told me this is a small business and I am just a number to you, that doesn't make sense as small businesses also work with there regular customers. Just so disappointed. Liked you better when you where in a small spot and didn't act like a greedy business.

You are not just a number and you are very important as are all our customers, we do have a hard time competing with box stores but we will certainly try our best to do so and try our hardest to keep prices competitive.
Another extremely helpful employee at The Pet Shoppe. She helped us pick out the perfect fish for our kids and showed myself and my kids around the place and all the little animals they have :)
We are putting together a family of fish to make our office a little more like a home and we had some help in making this happen with the Pet Shoppe's friendly staff. I am happy we stopped in; because while there I had found that they also care a wide selection of pet supplies and accessories. Now I won’t have to drive to Barrie anymore to find my daughters rabbit her special treats! :)
I went in this afternoon to get some fish for my tank and was immediately greeted at the door. I don't know a ton about fish so the girl was extremely helpful and helped me pick the right fish and food!
I was in a few weeks ago and got a beta fish, along with everything I needed for him. The staff was friendly and helpful, and he is thriving and healthy! The Pet Shoppe is definitely the place in the Midland area to go for pets :)
