Jaro Jr

Denturist and Owner of Dentures by Denturists

Jaro's grandfather is a denturist and was in fact one of the founding fathers of denturism. Jaro's father is also a denturist, making Jaro Jr. the third generation of denturists in his family. Jaro graduated from College in Seattle, obtaining his licence in 2001 and returning home in 2006 to open a practice and serve patients in the area he calls home. He grew up in Perkinsfield and still plays hockey locally.

Outside of his busy practice Jaro sees patients at both the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health and Christian Island. He also does house calls to all the nursing homes when necessary. Jaro works with several dentists in the area and has been specially trained and gained much experience with implant-supported dentures. His quality craftsmanship, his integrity and his excellent rapport with patients has led to his solid reputation and success in his field.

Loretta

Reception/Administrative Assistant

With an extensive background in customer service, Loretta joined our team after graduating from Everest College with a diploma in Medical Office Administration as well as Dental Office Administration. As a customer service representative with TD Canada Trust, specializing in finance services for senior citizens as well as having been a business owner for several years, Loretta has a wonderful work ethic and warm customer service skills. She craves learning and pushes herself and her boundaries, competing in physically demanding goals, most recently completed the “Tough Mudder.” Google that; it is no small feat! You might want to stay on her good side.

Tamara

Registered Dental Hygienist

Tamara was born and raised in Penetanguishene. She graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2001 from Georgian College in Orillia. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Tamara provides complete hygiene services to the whole family here at Dentures by Denturists, Monday thru Friday. Now residing in LaFontaine with her husband and two children, Tamara is the newest addition to our team and we are thrilled to have her with us. She is gentle yet thorough (which explains why she has such a loyal following with her patients).

Janice

Lab Technician

Janice grew up in Midland. Her father was a local dentist and Janice started her career at 14 as a dental assistant (child labour). She later attended George Brown College for further education. Janice has worked for the Red Cross over the years, but she has more than 15 years of experience working in commercial dental labs. We feel lucky to have her technical skills she has honed over the years. You don’t see Janice much as we keep her chained to her desk in the lab so we don’t lose her.
