Tickets $25 / Student $15 Peter O’Brian is an accomplished independent filmmaker. His movies have won 19 Genie Awards. His producing career began in 1970 with low budget comedies including the international cult classic “Outrageous”. He founded International Pictures Inc. in 1977 and produced “The Grey Fox” and “My American Cousin”. Both won Best Motion Picture Genies. After producing films for more than 3 decades, in 2003, Peter launched his career as a director with “Hollywood North”. He is a founding board member of the Canadian Film Centre. He has served as Chair of TVO’s Board of Directors for 11 years. He has also served on the Boards of the Toronto International Film Festival and the Academy of Canadian Film and Television. |
