We were very happy with the service getting central air. The service people were here when they said they would be and were very courteous. They cleaned up after. We were very satisfied.
Cory and Riley did a great job on moving ductwork, gas pipe and HRV in my basement. They are very thorough, professional and ready to answer any questions we had. Craig and the office staff are also very responsive when dealing with them.
We were extremely pleased with the work done by Kevin, Riley and Trent on May 21 and 22. They were on time, courteous and very careful coming and going through the house. Their clean up after the job was exceptional. We would also like to commend Craig and Healther for their professionalism.

Recently I called a heating and cooling company to come and do the annual service /clean my boiler unit. I had purchased furnace insurance with them, and had been with them since 2012.
Much to my dismay, my unit was red-tagged as being improperly installed, I believe the term was Violation- Corrections needed.
In fact, the technician advised me that my unit was quite old and inefficient . I found that odd, as nothing had ever been mentioned before.
I immediately called Garthside for a second opinion as I had dealt with them in the past- and had always been more than happy with their level of service. Garthside sent a technician over, who looked up the manual and discovered the unit was installed properly, and there was no violation.
Mitch, the technician immediately put my mind at ease , and told me that although the unit is old, it is in good working condition and I don't need a replacement anytime soon.
Needless to say, I have cancelled my insurance with the other company, and am over the moon and back about being back in the trustworthy and professional hands of Craig Stewart and his team at GARTHSIDE. I don't know why I ever left.
I suggest they are the only ones to call in our area for prompt, dependable service.
I have had to deal with electric baseboard heat for years and freeze, as you know turn them up pay big! I heard of the new cold climate heat pumps and called Garthside for more info. That day Craig came out answered all my questions and gave me a quote. Within 2 weeks I now have it in and love it! I'am warm finally.Heather in the office is amazing and is the crew who installed it, Corey,Mitch and Riley.I would highly recommend this company.
Our best day was when we called Garthside Ltd for servicing of our boiler (BAXI). Corey was amazing and was the first to find our problem after seven years! His friendly and efficient customer service will keep us with Garthside Ltd.

Garthside installed a Bryant air condition May 2014. It was shocking to have water running down the hall wall. It took almost a week to discover that faulty plastic tubes were the cause of the problems & were replaced. However, with such a short summer there wasn't enough time to see if things improved. Also, I was promised a cover for this Byrant air conditioner. Winter is on the way and I have received nothing but excuses. Had we gone through Can Tire as per the advertisement, perhaps I would have been given one. I would rate you 3 Stars for your SERVICEMEN who were pleasant & respectful.
First, thank you Craig for your help in selecting a new HVAC system for my home and especially for providing the performance data for the Bryant Evolution Extreme Heat Pump. The installation was done quickly and neatly and your staff were very polite.
I only has a few cooling days since the installation but I can tell you I have never been so comfortable. The humidity control is unbelievable. Visitors ask me why it feels so fresh and comfortable in my home.
We are into the heating season now and the system has amazing control never leaving the setpoint. The temperature control is precise.
I have been monitoring my electricity bills because the system is all electric and so far this season my total consumption is approximately half of what it was last year. This means my heating costs are actually less than half. In the summer I could not even notice the system running on my consumption profile. What a great system.

After the purchase of this Air Conditioner 4 years ago we had a problem with the compressor, Garthside responded to my call right away sending out a technician to look at the problem, quickly diagnose that it was the compressor and ordered all the necessary parts to correct the issue in a timely manner, their technician was as professional and friendly as the first day the unit was installed 4 years ago their after sales service was fantastic and I can only recommend them more after experiencing this level of service that isn't found often these days.
Garthside's installed a Fujitsu Ductless Heat Pump in our home. This is not an easy task as it is 110 years old & recently remodeled. The Unit was required to heat and cool the 3 floor loft. It was a pleasure to recycle the crappy old window unit and have a quiet, modern energy efficient system installed by a team of competent polite profesionals. Third floor unusable, give Craig a call.

I recently had Garthside clean our ductwork before the winter season begins, Until recently I didn't even know that Garthside did Duct Cleaning. There staff were very professional and from what I can tell they did a great job (kind of hard to tell with duct cleaning) I would definitely recommend them for this service.
Hi Craig, We just wanted you to know how much we are enjoying our new A/C during this extended hot summer weather. Even when it is not on, the air circulation is very comfortable. We also wanted to tell you that Chris and Cory were very hard working, considerate and always in good humour. We appreciate how quickly all got done and how they cleaned up every night before leaving and didn’t leave until everything planned was done. I hope you managed to find some jobs that gave them a chance to stretch after spending a week in our awful crawl space. My entire experience with Garthside was excellent from start to finish. I received a prompt and accurate estimate for having a new furnace and some ductwork installed. The work was completed as scheduled in a very thorough and professional manner. A follow up question I had post-installation was addressed promptly. I recently had Garthside install a new central airconditioning unit in my older home. They were very thorough and professional, They even fixed some things that were not even related to the airconditioning system and also pointed out things that may be future problems for me!
