Hospice Huronia offers a LIVING WELL Day Program to provide social and emotional support in a safe environment through meaningful activities to those living with chronic and life limiting illness. It can also provide respite for caregivers and ease of mind for their loved ones. Activities may include arts and craft, music therapy, table games or special guests. Hike for Hospice on Sunday May 27 2018 at Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. Registration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and hike starting at 1 p.m.
Hike, bike, walk or stroll with us to raise funds to support hospice programs and services and to help build a LOCAL residential hospice.
Accessible trail. Separate biking route. Food and refreshments. No registration fee.
Hospice Huronia announces that a 5-bed residential hospice will be ready to open in the fall of 2018 in the town of Penetanguishene. We are excited to offer many volunteer opportunities for ages 14+. Bereavement Support Group for Parents Who Have Experienced the Death of a Child (any age)
September 13th, 2016 7:00pm - 9:00pm (for six weeks)
This bereavement support group is specifically designed for parents who have experienced the death of a child (any age).

FREE six week Volunteer Training course September 20, 2016-October 25, 2016 every Tuesday from 1:00pm-4:00pm. This training allows volunteers to become a home visiting volunteer providing respite for caregivers, emotional support, non-medical physical support and friendly visiting.
