We have just returned from our 2 night stay in the Floatel - it was a fabulous experience! The service from arrival through to departure was excellent and very friendly! Our bags were taken by cart for us out the dock to the floatel and we were given an efficient orientation to the setting including the fabulous floating gazebo with BBQs. The floatel is very convenient, cozy and clean! It is a surprisingly peaceful location and others were catching fish right off the dock! The beds were comfortable and the linens very high quality. It was great to have the minifridge, microwave and coffee maker. We rented Wave Runners for the day on Monday. Dwayne provided operational instruction and Jill provided navigational assistance with laminated maps that we took with us to find our way to Honey Harbour for lunch and to take a tour along Beausoleil Island - incredibly beautiful! Oh, the inground pool onsite is also fabulous. Definitely the place to go if you want to rent watercraft on Georgian Bay! Thank you again Jill, Dwayne and staff!
While visiting numerous sites to plan a family trip in the area I inadvertently provided a low rating online. This review will document my experiences since then and I have been pleased with the communications with this company as I prepare to reserve a boat for fishing with family and friends next month. I am sure to post again afterwards to share my experiences with the services afterwards.
Enrico, Stephen, Lina and I had a great time this week. The rooms were big and clean with a full size bathroom and air conditioned. The BBQ area was a great place to hang out and we made use of the pots and burner you supplied. The bathroom sink was a little small for washing dishes but we managed anyway. The boats were a lot of fun as we never ridden in any before and the boys enjoyed taking over the helm. All the staff was great and you had plenty of them. Every one was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable on the boats and the area " what to doe's". There was always someone around when we needed "docking". When talking to your staff all had nothing but praises for their bosses which is rare.
I know we will see you again next year because we are already telling all our friends and family what a great time we had plus our dog's Athena and Rosie were welcomed and that was great.
After taking over the Floatel/Boatel for our wedding weekend, we can't wait to come back and do it again! It was a wonderful weekend that we along with our wedding party will never forget. We got rave comments about how amazing and unique the floatel is and how much fun everyone had the entire weekend. We all can't wait to come back and spend another weekend. The atmosphere, amenities, and overall experience was nothing short of fantastic. Jill, Dwayne and the Diverse Staff were all so warm and friendly, which helped make our experience memorable. Celebrated a birthday and anniversary here with my boyfriend. the floatels were awesome, clean, newly renovated and comfortable. the service was AMAZING. thank you to Jill and her super friendly family.they made sure every one of our needs were taken care of. Its rare to find a rental company that allows you to take boats out on your own. prices were very reasonable for the equipment you are renting, jetskis are all almost brand new. Thanks again Jill, we'll definitely be back!!

We just spent a fantastic weekend in Penetanguishine staying on the house boat. The boat was excellent, moored on the outer edge of the marina with great views. A perfect place to sit on the deck with a cold beer. We also rented a Grew and went out and about exploring the area. The staff at Diverse were superb, really helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable about the local area. We had an absolute blast and will certainly be back again next year. I would certainly recommend Diverse and the team at Hindson Marina - thanks for making our stay so memorable.
We rented a houseboat for 4 days and took the "captained" option to have them take us out and moor us in a great private bay. Cant say enough about the excellent service and staff!! Highly recommend Diverse and staff to anyone wanting a great private getaway, while knowing whatever you need, is only a call away!
Me, my family and some friends rented a Pontoon and spent an unforgettable and marvelous day in the water. We all enjoyed very much and definitively will repeat when time and weather permits. The staff is FIVE STARS and will recommend this place to friends looking for rent a boat. All very well organized and so simple at same time! Boat was in very nice conditions. We were very well oriented and guided with very clear and precise instructions using local maps and pictures about what to do to avoid being in danger. Also, quick instructions about how to navigate safely paid off since it was our 1st experience cruising alone. Very appreciated!! Thank you very much for being so nice and make our day so pleasant! You all rock guys!!
My friends and I rented a pontoon, a jet ski and a couple of water toys from Diverse Rentals in Penetang on Civic day to have a memorable day off. Words would not express how enjoyable our experience was.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help. After the detailed instructions for operating the watercraft we took off and spent a great day in the bay. Swimming, tubing, barbequing - it was a great experience.
Now our cameras are full of awesome pictures and this mini vacation will stay in our memory for a while. Will definitely come back next time and recommend this company to everyone.
P.S.: don't forget to use the sunscreen (based on my personal sad experience :) )
We all had a fabulous time at Diverse Rental at Hindson Marine in Penetang. The floatel was absolutely wonderful and very.comfortable and super clean. Lots attention to.detail while there. Your hospitality and attention to little details really made for a wonderful experience. Loved the cute little.doggie/animal shapes they made.out of.towels. Always a nice surprise and very welcoming when arriving back.to our room. After selling our.boat years ago it was nice being able.to.rent a boat and enjoyed visiting islands we used to in the past. It was.nice enjoying.a boat again and.not dealing with the maintenance and up keep of owning one. Thank you so much for all your great service and very friendly hospitable atmosphere. The pool was also a hit. Our pooch equally loved her stay there and.loved all the attention and.cuddles she was getting.from.the staff there. It was nice having my furry little child along as well. The children had a blast and cant wait for our next trip there.We will definetly be back to rent the floatel and the boat again and highly recommend you to all. My family and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the "Floatel". The accommodations were excellent. All the rooms were large, extremely clean, and with very comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and always there if you needed something. We also rented a pontoon and spent the day cruising Penetang Harbour. We will definitely return.
Thank you all so much for such a wonderful day. My wife and I wanted to give my mother a special day, as she is now wheelchair bound. We could not have been more surprised and pleased with the wonderful hospitality you afforded us all. The staff were so helpful and friendly while helping us get her aboard and making sure everyone was comfortable and then again your staff was right there when we returned to help out. Everyone had an incredible time and we will most certainly recommend you to everyone we know. We look forward to seeing you all when we do the trip again in the fall when the colours come out.

I highly recommend Diverse Rentals to anyone looking to have a good time. My friends and I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday by bringing him here. We had never heard of them before and were fortunate enough to come across them in an internet search. We had no experience driving a boat before and that was ok! They taught us everything we needed to know! We rented a tube and the 17ft bowrider. They are located in such a great spot with lots of places to explore and have fun. The staff is all very friendly and helpful.
We could not be happier with our experience. If I lived closer, I would definitely go again and again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
